Gifts That Give Hope 2016
The Arlington's Alternative Gift Fair organized by Gifts That Give Hope is a very innovative way of raising funds for your foundation while educating your kids about world's problems and charitable giving. The event took place on December 10, 2016, 10AM - 2PM at Discovery Elementary School in Arlington.
A lot of families attended and educated their kids about being charitable. A truly meaningful and lovely event.
You probably heard from many people "I do not need anything for Christmas." How about giving the gift of hope to a kid battling cancer in honor of someone who does not need anything?
1. Donate a gift of hope for a kid fighting cancer.
2. Dedicate a personalized card to someone you love.
You can shop online or you can stop by at the Chris Lantos Foundation table at the Gifts That Give Hope: Arlington's Alternative Gift Fair, a family friendly live event.

Giving Tuesday 2016
Giving Tuesday is a charitable kindness day right after Black Friday and Cyber Monday in November. On this day thousands of US charities conduct fundraising. This year the Melinda and Bill Gates Foundation gave 100% match up to $1000 to the charities raising funds on their Facebook page and Facebook waived their processing fees.
Jewelry Party 2016
The Jewelry Party and Fundraiser by the Papazian Jewelry Designs was a huge succes. 20% of all proceeds benefited the Chris Lantos Foundation and kids with cancer. Supporters could purchase from her online Etsy store or at her house party.
We had a great time at Diana's Jewelry Party and Fundraiser event. She received lots of online orders. We are thankful to all who support the idea of a small local business and a small local charity helping each other.
Diana made it possible for the Chris Lantos Foundation to win $10K last year and $5K this year to benefit kids with cancer. She also holds Jewelry parties annually when 20% of the proceeds go to our Foundation.

Paint It Gold 2015
On August 30, 2015 about 40 "painters" gathered together in Clarendon Hardtimes Cafe to paint a picture "Sunrise birds". Chris loved water and beaches. We signed it with gold paint since gold is the childhood cancer awareness color. The event was a great success.

Smoothiefest 2013
Chris Lantos was a 12-year-old boy who fell in love with the strawberries-banana smoothie right from the day Red Mango opened in Clarendon, VA. He was one of the first customers and received a memorable t-shirt. Before Chris died, he began dreaming about a “Smoothie Fest”, where people drink smoothies to raise money for children fighting cancer. He even started to design a t-shirt for this event, which he could not finish. In memory of Chris' 13th birthday, the Chris Lantos Foundation and Red Mango collaborated on this event, which took place on September 30, 2013. About 400 people attended including many of his doctors, nurses, teachers, friends, classmates and boy scouts.
